"Federico Garcia Lorca in Flamenco"

Introduction:
Lorca was one of the first poet to approach the flamenco music. He organized some "cante jondo"- the most pure expression of flamenco art – festivals and particularly one in Granada in 1922 with the aid of the musician M. De Falla. Through Lorca "Flamenco" as art – cante, baile and guitar – was officially recognised by the culture of those days. Our project is to accompany Lorca poems with the gipsy – andalusa music so that voice, guitar and dance can armoniously melt together.
